Publication of the book Étourneaux, by Denis Savary

From August 2nd to October 27th 2013, Jean Tinguely’s Cylclop hosts an exhibition and installation by Denis Savary called Étourneaux (“Starlings”). On this occasion the Éditions Dilecta release a special case containing a few documents and the CD recording of the musical performance produced by two birdsong imitators. Together they adapt the rythms of Schwitter’s Ursonate and reproduce it through starling whistlings.

Publication of the book [I], by Loris Gréaud

The Éditions Dilecta co-publishes with the Musée du Louvre and the Centre Georges Pompidou a book presenting the last two interventions of the French artist Loris Gréaud in both institutions (this summer at Pompidou’s and lasting till January 2014 at the Louvre.) From the ephemeral installation in Pompidou’s Forum to the monumental piece sitting under the Louvre’s pyramid, the book gathers preliminary sketches and blueprints, critical texts and numerous photographs of the pieces in situ.

Release of the book Trafaria Praia, by Joana Vasconcelos

We are proud to announce the publication of the book Joana Vasconcelos / Trafaria Praia, available now.

Tracing back the creative process that lead the piece to be part of the 55th Venice Biennale, the book unveils the stages of the transformation that turned an old Lisbon ferryboat into a moving piece of art and a floating pavilion. From the first steps of the artist’s reasearches to the fabrication of the azulejos and taking us from the restoration of the ferry to its first cruise in the lagoon, numerous photographs give details and document the audacity of this oustanding project.
